Etheon is a Senior Clinical Social Worker with 25 years international experience in Mental Health, Advocacy, Supported Decision Making, Human Rights and Disability services. Etheon has worked and lived in culturally diverse communities across the globe, and has a wide range of clinical, Government, Correctional Services, clinical group work, and family work experience, both in Australia, and in 8 countries.

Etheon has spent a decade working in Adult Guardianship across NSW as a substitute decision maker, responding to complex Medical, Psychological, Legal, Social Justice, and Human Rights client focused decisions. Etheon has an evidenced history of advocating for the rights, best interests, and least restrictive practice client outcomes, at Tribunals, District Courts, and the Supreme Court of NSW.

Etheon has over 15 years’ experience working with First Nations individuals and their communities across NSW, and continues to work for, and advocate the rights of LGBTQI+ young people and adults. Etheon has a long rewarding history of working in communities, with leaders and authorities across Sydney, Rural and Regional NSW. Etheon is trauma informed, and Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander trauma/ well-being informed. Etheon uses a wide range of clinical modality methods in his work, incorporating research knowledge and evidenced based skills in practice, achieving improved clinical and service support outcomes for clients and their families.

Etheon's work continues in other ongoing part-time roles as a Clinical Manager of an Adolescent and Family Mental Health Centre & as a School Counsellor at an Aboriginal focused Primary School.

Etheon also clinically supervises Counsellors, Clinical Social Workers, Psychotherapists, Psychologists and clinical placement university students.
